 | A student of life and the arts J.Eyers is looking to change the way people view art all over the world. His creative process is always changing and growing. A passion, devotion and approach to art much like Bruce Lee’s to karate, he uses a plethora of mixed media techniques. Incorporating paint, photography, illustration, and computer technology he creatively experiments into the unknown. Intruiged by space exploration, ancient mysteries, legendary art masters and lifes discoverys, his thirst for appreciation creates art. True art is inspired by humanity and each artwork reflects a pride, love, and respect for it.
Studying the work of legendary art masters, J.Eyers has unlocked valuable knowledge of how their art effects our emotional state of consiousness. Inspired by their intese devotion, proactive solutions and innovative concepts, J.Eyers has created a new artform and method for change called “Abstract Emotionalism”. This new artform is a gateway to self-examination that seeks out truth through emotion. Visual elements and colors are in a harmonic union, with each color representing human emotion. Awakening the inner spirit it penetrates deeper layers of one’s emotional consciousness. Through observation the viewer can discover truth, happiness and realization. Art is the freedom of all things sacred. Enjoy his life creations and remember to share all for all is within. Stay Inspired!
Favorite Artists:
" I have studied many great artists however my strongest influence has been Wassily Kandinsky. Other strong influences include: Picasso, Dali, Da Vinci, MC Escher, John Lautner, Michael Kungl, Alfred Gockel, Piet Mondrian, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Christian Riese Lassen, Jackson Pollock and many others.
Favorite Musicians:
" My love for music is just as strong as it is for art. They are both unbelievable forces of creative expression and it is important to keep exploring new sounds. I mostly listen to various styles of house music for its hard hitting beats, deep bass lines, soothing melodic rythms, warm synths, and tingy trebles. I am also greatly inspired by The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Radiohead, Discobiscuits, Bob Marley, Tupac, Nirvana, and Mozzart to just name a few.
Creative Process:
" The creative process is everything. I use a combination of photography, illustration, graphic design and computer technology. The key is experimentation and this is what I believe makes you a great artist. You gain the knowledge and experience that is needed to grow. If you stay curious and serious about your craft you will find yourself getting the valuable and much needed answers.
However, the heavily sought out answers are not always the best course of action. Some of my best work is from being in the moment and just enjoying the company and atmosphere that surrounds me. If you trust your instincts and go with the natural flow of things you will do what is supposed to be done.
